These Aren’t Bestsellers, But These Delights Complement Any Post-Workout Meal Plan

Haley Pasternak is a huge hit in the fitness world. Being a top fitness coach in the business, Haley has been very busy with his personal training gigs, whipping up smoothie recipes, and writing fitness books.

When he is not spending time with his very exclusive clientele that includes Katy Perry, Robert Downey Jr., Rihanna, and Kanye West to name a few, Haley is dishing diet tips left and right.

What does he recommend for a post-workout snack? Not the usual, that’s for sure. But he is certain these unknown treats will give your workout program a boost while satisfying your palate.

He is clearly gaga over Greek yogurt.

“Greek yogurt is a great snack,” says Harley. “I’ll use Greek yogurt, berries, and sprinkle in some Meta on top to add more fiber. It’s a snack that’s loaded with protein but is still low in sugar. The fruit will help rebuild some energy.”

The lowly sweet potato is on his list as well.

“Incredible vegetable that’s low in calories,” says Pasternak. “It’s got fiber and is loaded with nutrients. I’m a big sweet potato fan.”

Although not a big fan of vegetables, Haley recommends that you consume them as green smoothies.

“I hate greens,” Pasternak expresses. “I hate vegetables but greens — especially in a smoothie — are a great way for a big kid like me to hide my vegetables into the meal.”
